Mix in the tin Chocolate Brownies
The great thing about this recipe is that you mix it all the
baking tin. No messy bowls to wash up.!
I like to use dark chocolate which has 70% cocoa solids to give a rich
chocolate flavour. You can add nuts if you like 2 tbsp of chopped peacans works
well.
Ingredients
3 tbps Cocoa Powder
170g Self Raising Flour
Pinch of Salt
170g Caster Sugar
120g Dark Chocolate – grated
140g unsalted butter – melted
3tbsp sunflower oil
1tsp vanilla extract
190ml cold water
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
Method
Grease a cm tin with butter.
Sift the cocoa, salt and flour
into the tin. Add the sugar and chocolate chips and mix well.
In a jug mix the melted butter,
oil, vanilla, water and vinegar.
Make a well in the centre of the
flour and gradually add the liquid. Stir well ensuring you mix right into the
corners of the tin.
Place in the oven on shelf 6 and
bake on Genus 3 for 25 minutes or until a little mixture still sticks to a
skewer.
Leave to cool in the tin for 5 minutes then cut into
squares. Cool for a further 15 minutes
before removing from the tin.
