Roast Chicken with stuffing
Ingredients
1 Whole Fresh Chicken
1 Packet of stuffing mix
1 Meat tin with trivet provided with the oven.
Method
Always was your fresh chicken and make sure there is no bag of giblets left inside.
Prepare the stuffing mix by following the instructions on the packet.
Place your chicken on the meat tin and put the stuffing mixture inside the chicken. Put a thin coating of oil over the top of the chicken.
Place in the main oven on shelf position 5, counting from the bottom upwards.
Select the G button for Genus mode and select programme 5.
Enter the amount of minutes required by the weight of the chicken i.e. if the chicken was 3½lb then we would enter approx 1hr 30 minutes into the timer and the oven will calculate down itself to the Genus time. So always make sure you enter the correct time for the weight of the poultry. The oven will then calculate into the Genus time for you.
It is important to always make sure that poultry is cooked through to the middle so the correct time must be entered to ensure it is cooked.
